Dafni's story

Creativity, positivity and originality are Dafni’s three main characteristics.

Dafni-Georgia Georgiades is a Cypriot architect on her thirties. She spent her early years in Nicosia, before travelling to Paris in 2008, where she completed her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Architecture at Ecole d’Architecture Paris Val de Seine. She continued her academic career in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she obtained her Master of Advanced Studies in "Sustainable Planning" at EPFL-Unil. She worked in architectural offices in Nicosia, Paris, Lausanne, Zurich and Boston. After 16 years abroad, Dafni moved back in Cyprus. Parallel to her studies she has been involved with photography, she traveled to places in Europe, Asia and America with renowned photographers to learn more about the art of photography and to this day she keeps attending seminars to improve her skills. She shares her experiences and travels through her personal blog entitled "dgg the travelling architect" since 2009.

 

She seeks multiculturalism, she is a dreamer and an independent person, she is easily integrated in a team, she aims high and she is constantly trying to enhance her capabilities. Travelling, reading and everyday experiences are her source of inspiration. Dafni is an architect with eco-friendly approaches for a more sustainable world and a photographer with dynamic and creative views. Dafni is an active and restless spirit, always looking for new projects and constantly setting high goals. Recently, she opened her own company, called "dgg Amorphous Design Limited" and she is open to new architectural and photographic projects and collaborations.
